Groupon recruits people to sign up to its email database before the site will be launched as scheduled in the next month. Groupon is also taking actions against Scoopon in Illinois with the claim that the latter practiced federal trademark infringement, unfair competition and deceptive trade, this is even to the fact that Scoopon’s business is within Australian shores.
